Yukon

It's late and I can't be bothered writing much so the photos will have to do.

We drove down this road:

And parked in this spot for about 2 hours with the car resting on the snow just letting the wheels spin free like the spirits they are...(yes it is dark in the shot below but my new camera does some cool things with long exposures). I probably should have been helping dig and not wasting time setting up a tripod and camera...sorry Corey - you did a great job digging mate.

The car was pretty big:

Corey did all the driving:

We went dog sledding - my dogs were pretty cool but this one had the best eyes. My dogs were a bit naughty and one of them chewed through the ropes holding the other dogs before we even left the base...I suddenly had some very excited dogs running sans sled.

The car was pretty big:

The rivers were starting to flow again after the winter:

They brew really good beer up there:

This boat is famous:

This dog was called Panda:

Just more teasing before the Northern Lights photos...

OOOOoooo!!!

I see someone has been twiddling his dials and playing with his equipment.

Great shots! I love the one of the dog with the best eyes!

And now...the lights. The lights please...

We call it "bottoming-out" when the vehicle settles down into the snow when parked and has to be dug out. Do you? The dogs look so sweet. Were they really?

But where were those lights?
